4. Rest as we apply your lashes – listen to calming music while our technicians individually attach your lash extensions
5. Maintenance tips – review procedures for maintaining and cleaning your lash extensions.
6. Schedule a fill – make a follow up appointment in 2-4 weeks to maintain your long, full beautiful lashes.

At HM Advanced Skin & Lash Spa we offer an alternative to classic lashes, Russian Volume Lashes. Russian volume lashes are super fine light lashes that can be applied in multiples to your individual lashes.

Russian Volume vs Classic Eyelash Extensions

Classic lash extensions can only safely be attached with a one to one ratio, meaning one extension to one of your own natural lashes due to the weight of the lash. Technological advancements in the lash manufacturing industry has now enabled manufacturers to create super fine and light extension. These can be manually grouped together to form a ‘fan’ look and applied in groups of 2-8 lashes to one natural lash safely.

Russian volume lashes should not be confused with cluster lashes that some spa’s offer. Our technicians skillfully hand create a volume “fan” from individual lashes during the time of application and then carefully place these on individual natural lashes, creating a full, fluffy lash look. Although multiple extensions are used, the “fan” is placed onto one individual isolated natural lash using a technique that encases the natural lash with zero damage.

Russian volume lashes are very versatile and will suit most clients. The level of fullness can be customized with Russian volume lashes, allowing us to create a look that is suited to most client’s requirements

Are Eyelash Extensions Waterproof?

Yes. After a period of 24 hours your new lash extensions will be completely waterproof. Whether swimming, showering, or sweating at the gym your lashes should hold up with your daily activities beautifully.

Do I Have To Wear Mascara With Eyelash Extensions?

We do not recommend that you wear mascara over your lash extensions.

Your lashes should be bold and beautiful enough that mascara is not required.

Any unnecessary touching or aggressive makeup removal will result in more maintenance fill appointments.
